BLOG POST: Parametric Surface Design: Progress 2

So I worked a little more on my design! I added two more cyclical swirls using the polar array object and then I added some text to really put my stamp on it.

  I enjoy the tile, I think putting text is a new and interesting way of marking my territory over it haha

. I have some questions about that though, because I couldn't figure out how to make the text block 3D and bake it into a rhino object.. I just made it in rhino and added it after I worked with the base, using volponoi and polar array . 

I tried variations of point locations and what it'd be like without the added geometry and just the text. 

and came up wih four iterations of a similar concept. I don't know which one I enjoy more but the grasshoppper web I got myself into gives me anxiety haha 

But yeah! Any one of these three I'm totally down to do :)
